I just moved to the UK.

And even though I literally knew no one in the whole of the UK, I was sitting in Cafe Rouge and my heart was like beating out of my chest and I just felt so clammy and embarrassed and shy.

And I took my Kindle, but I couldn't focus on reading anything because I just kept looking around like, are people looking at me? Like, what do they think about me? But like, no one looked at me twice.

And I really think that we're never going to truly enjoy being single until we learn to genuinely enjoy doing things by ourselves.
