How did it feel playing your dad in Notorious? And how did it happen?

So, I remember they were doing the auditions for who was going to play my dad as a kid.

I had no interest in being in this movie, I promise you.

My grandma was the one who told the director to have me audition.

And I remember we was in LA, go to the audition, and they was like, yo, he did the best out of everybody.

Nobody else was that, it was natural for him.

And from there, I started working with an acting coach.

So just as long as she knows how important he is, how important he is to the culture, to New York, to hip hop, that's the most important thing to me.
