And it has to do with Rusev and his wife, CJ Perry, formerly known as Lana.

As the couple have officially announced that they're expecting their first child together.

The couple revealed the exciting news on October 27th during an interview exclusive interview with People Magazine confirming that they're expecting a baby boy who is due on April 28th, 2027.

The middle name Petrov was chosen to honor his father.

To becoming parents hasn't been easy for the couple.

CJ revealed that They began undergoing IVF treatments in 2025 and completed an embryo transfer on August 10, 2026 after several emotional days of waiting.

They received confirmation of their pregnancy later that month.

I'm going to start off with some positivity.

Congratulations to the Rusevs as they are expecting their first child, CJ Perry.

Let me get a little bit of that.

CJ Perry, in an interview with People Magazine, made the announcement as they went through the process of IVF, which started in 2025 and was transferred in August 2026.

Baby Rusev is due in April 2027.

Lana, same thing with Lana.

She was great as a valet, as a manager valet, whatever you want to call it, right? Why do we have to force feed her now in the ring, in the square circle now? If we want to do it for like a special feud where you need a female, you know, to accompany the male, you know a wrestler she's managing or the valet for okay cool fine once in a while but it's nothing that needs to become a frequent thing and i and i dislike when wwe does that and if maxine just wanted to become an in-ring you know uh competitor as well that's fine it's just sometimes you got to kind of know where the sweet spot is with some of them and if it isn't necessary but a lot of the women have been having injuries and they have you know women getting pregnant and um you know so you kind of gotta uh manage your talent how you gotta manage your talent in that capacity i suppose but um speaking of that there is a rumor going around in the internet uh in reference to stephanie vacure and her indefinite um uh, um, she's been pulled from matches indefinitely in WWE right now.

And people were saying the rumor was that she was pregnant, but that rumor has since been, um, denied according to some reports she has, uh, Denied being pregnant and you say, let me see you say reports in insider updates indicate her absence is due to an undisclosed illness, not pregnancy.
