Walther reject it?

Yeah, the intuitu fide means in view of faith.

This was a way of explaining election in the crassest way.

So he, God's act of election is in view of faith that was to come.

This is, as Walter rejects it in his theses, and this is a huge big fight on the doctrine of election, which is really helpful that we The Missouri Synod went through it to clarify this doctrine.

Walther sees this as just a way of negating the Lutheran doctrine of election as a doctrine of comfort.

So the Lutheran confessions give us election this way.
