I think the first bit of performance that I was ever taken to was a stage version of Button Moon, the stop-motion animated programme, and I was absolutely terrified of it because they re-enacted an episode in which the kind of various kitchen utensils that lived on button moon um were attacked by cows on a camping expedition and I don't really have very fixed memories of it except it was in the Queen's Hall Theatre in Hexham where I saw most of my early shows and did my first little bits of acting in Amdram and stuff um but I apparently as soon as the set was revealed this tent I just began screaming and had to be removed from the theatre.

So I only have very vague memories of it, but it clearly has kind of lodged itself somewhere in my consciousness.

Before you move on to your next choice, I have to say that does sound quite a terrifying live episode to choose.

Well, apparently I watched the programme assiduously and loved it.

And the only time I'd ever not enjoyed Button Moon was the cow episode when they went camping, where I'd freaked out when it was on the telly.

There is a bit where she breaks off and does a funny little chord sequence, which I always thought sounded a little bit like the theme to Button Moon.

I think if you listen to them back to back, there is that similar sort of kind of thing.

But other than that, it just is endless.
