Buster Williams

Yeah.

And then Cedar Walton, Buster Williams, and Billy Higgins.

Wow.

They used to play in New York all the time.

That's trumpeter Charles Tolliver from his album called Connect.

That one features Jesse Davis, alto saxophone, Keith Brown, piano, Buster Williams, bass, and Lenny White at the drums.

Another gentleman that I hadn't connected with in quite a while was trumpeter Eddie Henderson, and it was great to see him again after so long.

Here he is featuring pianist Kenny Barron, Gerald Cannon at the bass, and Mike Clark at the drums.

My drummer, Mr. Granville, Mickey Roker.

The finest bassist in the land, Mr. Charles Buster Williams on bass.

I am more than fortunate at this moment in that if you'll notice seated at the piano, there are two gentlemen.

The one is, well, he's a young man who's been associated with me and my recording career for many years.

Quartet.

It was Buster Williams on bass, Ben Reilly on drums.

Kenny

Barron.

The album you need to look for is called Sphere on Tour.

You just heard the track Spiral featuring Charlie Rouse on tenor sax, Kenny Barron on the piano, who wrote that tune, and Buster Williams on bass, Ben Riley on the drums.

And a tune that was first introduced to me, as I said, by, uh, Harvinder on his, uh, Feeling Good show.

I've got a little edit from Harvinder later on in the show.
