Bushnell

But my name is Brad Beekman and I'm running for Illinois State Senate, District 36.

And I live right here in McDonough County, outside of Bushnell, Illinois, with my wife, Bambi.

We've been married for 21 years.

And together we have five children.

We also covered the Illinois Capitol building, the governor's office during business hours.

And then wherever the governor might be sleeping, whether it's his private residence or at a hotel, wherever he might be, my team attached themselves to him and I provided the security for him.

Now that I'm retired, so I retired in 2023 from the Illinois State Police, and I retired as a Master Sergeant, and I enjoy just spending time with my grandchildren and working at a local bank here in Bushnell, attending church.

My wife and I, we served there at our hometown church, and I'm a elected member of the Bushnell Prairie City School Board.
