But this is definitely less grunge influenced.

That's cause that's one of the worst places in recorded history to be, uh, Woodstock 99 during the Limp Bizkit set.

Uh, you know, maybe put me at Woodstock 99 during the, uh, Gavin Rosdale, uh, Bush doing glycerine in the rain moment, which is like, you know, uh, morose moribund, but, uh, ultimately pretty cool.

It's The Sea of Memories.

That album's coming out again for its 15th anniversary in what is being described as its most complete form.

Man, it's funny to be in the room with the 90s dudes, because I was a 90s kid, right? Yeah, right, right.

We did a big tour with Bush two years ago, Bush and Jerry Cantrell.

And when you're catering and Gavin Rossdale knows your name, that's fucking kind of weird.

That's incredible.

Fairgrounds.

Right, right.

But the first year, or the first or second year, they had Bush, and Gavin Rosdale had so much fucking fun that he climbed up into the rafters, went out into the crowd.

He was high-fiving everybody.

I'd rather just trust that the universe doesn't want me to get stomped out today.

Have you listened to everything Zen by Bush to kind of like cap that mindset? Oh man, let me tell you something about that.

I don't like that band.

I didn't think you did.

I had, there was no, no part of me thought that you were very into Bush at all.

No, no, never,

never did.

And it's part of the reason I picked it now.

Bush and their album 16 Stone from November of 1994, produced by Clive Langer, Ellen Winston Lee, and Bush.

But Bush, English alternative rock band formed in London in 1992 by Gavin Rosdale and Nigel Pulseford, later joined by Dave Parsons and Robin Goodridge, originally called Future Primitive.

Kind of like that name.

They developed a guitar heavy sound influenced by American alternative rock, particularly the Pixies, which I think a lot of the grunge acts were also influenced in Smashing Pumpkins and lots of others were influenced by the Pixies.

So it opened 16 stone with the song that broke them.

I guess Gavin wrote the song during Bush's early days, working out riffs on a drum machine and cassette recorder before developing the song with Nigel.
