[gentle music] Today's guest is the incredible Tanya Donough-Doco, the powerhouse voice behind Bachelor Girl, whose music has become part of the soundtrack to Australian life.

She and James Roache formed Bachelor Girl in 1992, and their debut album, Waiting for the Day, went double platinum, won the ARIA Award for Producer of the Year, and delivered Buses and Trains, a song that won APRA Song of the Year, sits at Australia's 100 Greatest Songs, double platinum success and one of Australia's most played songs for the past 25 years.

Tanya's career has been anything but ordinary.

Now, Bachelor Girl celebrates their iconic debut album with a beautiful reimagined release, featuring artists including Delta Goodrem, Jessica Mauboy, Darren Hayes, Tommy Emmanuel, and yes, my husband, Guy Sebastian.

So retro, in fact, that they have re-released their award-winning album, which is ever so exciting because who didn't grow up with a bit of Buses and Trains? I walked under a bus, got hit by a train.
