Burning Witches

Halloween is tomorrow, so happy Halloween to all those who celebrate.

First up, let's get into the cover for the Burning Witches album, Hexenhammer.

and dive right into this thing.

You'll hear a little click from my mouse because I gotta blow these covers up a little bigger so my old eyeballs can see them.

On the sides, what's going on on the sides? There's just this stuff hanging down on the sides.

And I can't tell, there's like some bones and some vines and some other various things of that nature.

The Burning Witches logo looks really cool up in the top.

It looks almost like a, not a pentagram, but an inverted, is it an inverted pentagram where the pentagram's in the other direction? Because the star inside the middle is kind of coming out of the circle.

They're so good.

And then Friday is going to be Burning Witches, a couple double for them.

And then on Buffett's side, I'm doing a Halloween episode for the Buffett side as well.

Really? He covered the song Werewolves of London.

Lots of good horror over there.

All right, and finally, Friday of the following week, Burning Witches, a double episode, my first ever double episode, Hexenhammer and Inquisition, new favorite band, really liking their stuff.

I realized they had two singers, so I kind of have, I thought it might be kind of cool to do a double episode with both singers, so that's kind of cool.

All right, that's it.

But I think it could be more welcomed, you know, because I think women can play a lot better than men, you know, because I've heard...

I don't know if you heard of the band Burning Witches, you know, but that's an all-female group, you know, and they outshine a lot of male bands, you know, in all of their playing chip, you know.

Yeah,

that's great.

... at South West.

Uh, you had Burning Witches on the tour and that kind of thing too?

Yes.

Yeah.

How did that go? Because I saw it's out west.

You had Burning Witches on the tour.

Yes.

Yeah.

I really do think this is a band that I want to listen to a lot more in my lifetime.

In fact, I'm thinking about maybe after I get through my run of new stuff next year and get back to just kind of covering some other artists, I'm thinking about doing like a In This Moment, Burning Witches, Nervosa, and there was one other one I can't think of, Crypta, if they have some stuff out, but kind of run through their discography, just kind of run like a little one, two, three, four, each month and then brand new female artists into that at that month after the cycle and then kind of run through that cycle again until i get through all these artist albums and then you'll keep doing that and that way i can still introduce some female artists but at the same time um make sure i get through all the in this moment ones and all the nervosa ones and you know these bands that i've really fallen in love with these female-led bands burning witches um so anyways stay tuned for all that but let's get into lyrics for the blood legion from in this moment and like i said The lyrics I'm going to read don't do it as much justice as the song itself.

The song is very spooky.

It's got this ethereal vibe to it.

I saw them headlined with L.A.

Guns and Burning Witches, cool off-chip metal bands.

Did you hear anything about the Wasp show where they canceled in New Jersey? No.

I heard of it, and KK3 still plays.
