What's happened this week is, yeah-

yeah-Very, very encouraging because the work to kind of get that program up and running had kind of stalled.

So they have been very interested.

And I was moved to tears by the New South Wales Teachers Federation presenting evidence to the, we're about to wrap up, a New South Wales clean indoor air inquiry.

The government has committed an extra $508 million over four years to the Medical Research Future Fund, with annual grant funding expected to reach $1 billion by 2030.

Professor Brendan Crabb, director and CEO of the Burnett Institute, says philanthropy can help support research that traditional government and commercial funding does not always reach.

No matter what government funding there is, you need philanthropy.

You need philanthropic giving as a component because it fills a niche that other mechanisms just don't fill.

My wife Anne was saying to me a few weeks ago, she started complaining that she never gets to see anything, you know, and I don't take her places.

And the next, like literally within 12 hours, I got an invitation to the Burnett Institute in Melbourne, Australia to give the Burnett Oration.

That's very cool.

And so, of course, I used the opportunity to say that.
