Burlington

[upbeat country music] Welcome to Pasture to Profit.

My name's Scott Stinnett, CSU Extension specialist here in Kit Carson County in the Burlington, Colorado office.

And again, with me is my colleague Travis Taylor from the Yuma County office located in Wray, Colorado.

Travis, it's weaning time, which means it's a lot of stress on our calves.

I think it's important, visit with your veterinarian, visit with your nutritionist.

As always, if you have questions, you can reach out to either of us on this podcast, and I'm in the Yuma County office, and you can reach me by email at travis.taylor@colostate.edu or call the office at 970-332-4151.

And you can get a hold of me, Scott, here in the Kit Carson County office in Burlington, Colorado.

Give me a call at 719-346-5571 or shoot me an email at scott.stinnett, that's S-T-I-N-N-E-T-T, @colostate.edu.

My dad stayed behind to answer questions to the police, like what happened.

I went back 25 years later to Burlington.

The accident happened in Bethune, but the closest hospital and, you know, eventually the cemetery were in Burlington.

And I ended up going back to 25 years later.

And boy, when I entered that hospital, I had to retrace the footsteps.
