Then we go to the Fort Worth area, the DFW if you were, as you will.

Yeah, the Fort Worth Temple that's actually in Burleson, Texas, right very far south in the DFW area.

They'll have a media day on November 2nd, followed by an open house the 7th through the 21st, and then a dedication on January 10th in the new year.

And they did not announce who would be presiding over that dedication.

So here we go.

"So I've told you before, probably closer to a year ago, I'm Josh from the DFW," Dallas-Fort Worth, "area down in Burleson." Hope I pronounced that right.

"I'm 32 now and grew up watching wrestling from '96 to 2005, roughly.

I watched it with some friends and mainly my stepdad.

Some might find it enduring, others might find it annoying.

Uh, but if you remember, you and I were at La La Land Coffee, and we're chatting, and, um, you talk about your mom, I think, and I'm like, "Oh, where does your mom live?" And you said, "Waco." And I go, "Are you from Waco?" You go, "No, I'm from Burleson." And I go, "Kelly Clarkson's from Burleson." And what did you say to me, Abby?

[laughs] I said that she babysat me one time.

Oh my gosh.

Mm-hmm

... tell us about that.

So you grew up in Burleson.

Yes, I grew up in Burleson, and I, um, I had a wonderful childhood.

And Doug, for seeing you at the poll, you know, you've been there since the beginning, which was also in the 1900s, as I said, almost the very beginning.

And this was in 1990, a small group of teenagers from a little place called Burleson, Texas.

And this Texas girl has to give a shout out.

I love it when things come from Texas like this.

Tell us about that beginning and how you've seen God move and work over the years.

Well, my favorite part of that whole story is the origin group itself.

It was a handful of freshmen meeting in the home of a couple of volunteer blue-collar youth leaders, volunteers in a church in Burleson.

And they were part of this conference, as you said, A Disciple Now, which is a weekend discipling and evangelism conference in churches all over the South, especially.

Target time.

It's in Burleson.

Come.

Where'd you get the money to purchase a gun?

Then we'd move on to the next thing, and then he'd bring it back.

I mean, it was just a cycle.

And when you went to Burleson, how did you get to Burleson?

Burleson, I rented a car when he got paid.

The diversity of the district, 35 percent African-American, 27 percent Latino, Hispanic.

Not only that and not only encompasses the entire city of Mansfield, but a part of Arlington, Grand Prairie, Burleson, Fort Worth, Kennedales.

Like seven or eight

was like in Burleson yesterday, but Aledo, we're covered in smoke, and it was all in the air.

It got to the house and everything.

Yeah.

And that's it.

Yesterday morning when I got up, I was like, man, there's another there's got to be a fire here in Burleson because it had a real low smoke, kind of like the Smoky Mountains rolling through.

But you could smell it smell like a fire, but it wasn't anything in Burleson.

It was the Palo Pinto fires kind of kind of pushing through.

[laughs] And I'm the owner of two- Um, magnificent, amazing early education programs.

I am the owner of Q&A Child Development, um, which was at one point in time Q&A Preschools, but my LLC is Q&A Child Development, and we have an awesome childcare program in Burleson, Texas.

I'm also the owner of Q&A After School Academics and Enrichment, and I'm the very proud owner as a Texas registered trainer for childcare providers and early childhood caregivers of Q&A Childcare Professional Development.

In addition to that, I am a huge community partner.

Yes, I like my husband a whole lot.

[laughs] And I'm the owner of two, um, magnificent p- Amazing early education programs.
