When I think about autoimmune diseases as well as inflammatory conditions, I like to separate them because when I think about autoimmune conditions, I think about autoantibodies against some sort of Self-antigen, right? So like if you think about bolus pemphigoid, there's autoantibodies against BP-180, BP-230, and that's causing this blistering.

I think about hyperinflammatory conditions or inflammatory conditions like psoriasis, where you have an increase of the cytokines like IL-17, IL-23, these sort of things that are causing just increased inflammation, but there's no real antibody against a self-antigen.

So oftentimes we talk about psoriasis, we talk about it being more hyperinflammatory condition rather than a true autoimmune condition.
