And it's generating severe diplomatic tension between Nairobi and Bujumbura, specifically regarding these Burundian migrants.

It is a clear illustration of how global instability functions mechanically.

I just don't understand, and I've been struggling with this, when you have a country or, or countries which are faced with terrorist organization, why don't we mobilize all our forces? Why don't we mobilize all our air sup- air power? Uh, why don't we mobilize all that to neutralize a problem that w- that is growing and that w- would engulf all of us? And by the way, that can also be used against our countries by also some other external actors.

So the African solidarity, the spirit of Pan-Africanism, if I'm a Burundian sitting in Bujumbura, and I see Shabaab, Al-Shabaab, or some other extremist group about to go into some other country, I should feel concerned, and I'm glad my country, actually, we sacrifice a lot in Somalia.

We, we deployed there, we fought Al-Shabaab, we created an environment with other troop-contributing countries.
