Imagine buying a brand new Bugatti Chiron.

You spend millions of dollars to own this absolute masterpiece of engineering.

Oh, yeah.

You guys who are automotive pugilist piston heads per se will be aware of the Matt Armstrong effect that this dude will buy a broken written off car and and fix it back up.

I've lately been focusing on Bugatti's, Veyron's and Chiron's and it's blown up.

It's gone viral.

Why? Because Bugatti, they're too tight arsed about the way they go about their activities.

We were on sort of the opposite sides of this in terms of...

I think we're probably both beating around this image that went around that was like Bugatti Chiron versus Tesla Roadster.

And it had all of these numbers assigned to it.

It was like, look how much better the Roadster is.

Well, yeah, I think, Andrew, Ford, is it's certainly true that what happens in a, in a courtroom is obviously the most important thing, but all this stuff does go to their credibility.

You know, apart from inventing nine children he doesn't have, um, it was also revealed that the high-end luxury items that they constantly post about as being theirs, like a $7 million customized Bugatti Chiron, a two and a, a $2.1 million Aston Martin, these weren't actually owned by the Tates.

They were rented or corporate leased.

That's been, uh, what emerged in these filings again.

We take them to shows, we supply them for movies, and then off the side of that, we do the car tours, which are slowly building a serious precedence.

You know, we've done our first, our first big one we did in the States, and we had a Chiron Pur Sport, two Jeskos, a Praga Bohema.

We had, um, Pistas, 675 LT's.

We had cars that, like, the Gumball would look at and go, "That's mad," because I don't believe it's about the roads.

Single gear.

Now, for me, I would rather own a car that someone is trying to build and do something unique with, and it has the occasional problem, rather than buy something that is just an adaption of it.

Like a Veyron and a Chiron aren't a million miles different techno- like the, the, there's still-

Um, they're nice engines.

To me, they have none of the character of a V12.

No, who knows? [laughs] Sorry, where were we? Um, yeah, so, uh, so those W engines, I mean, I've always admired them for what they do, but they, they, they've never, I've never fallen in love with a, with a s- a, a W formation engine.

And the, and the W16 is the same.

I, I drove one most recently in a Chiron Grand Sport or Super Sport or something, and it's absolutely unbelievable.

I mean, 1,600 horsepower.

And so the more three wheeler, I still own mine, which is by any measure, a horrible first car, maybe the worst car, first car ever made the best, the best fifth car ever made because it takes, it has super car pull at, you know, at first at, um, first car prices.

And, um, It ascribes to you and projects all the personality that Bugatti Chiron owners could never have.

Ever.

They cannot have it.
