I mean, this guy is, what, 18 years old just out of Buford High School? Just things like that that make you so excited that this is the next K.J.

You know, he's already making plays for us.

Um, number 98's been playing there forever, uh, a- on the interior of the defensive line.

He's from c- he's from Buford High School.

He's from right down the road, Brooks.

How are you forgetting this name? Anyways, they have a bunch of, uh, dudes that have played a ton of football for them up front, and they're really good run defenders.

Saw him at Under Armour.

Um, saw him, uh, really Dominate a camp in the rain at Buford High School there and, and one, um, top performer at the opening at Buford.

A guy that does a lot of things well and has some really, really good ball skills.

So it's easy to see why Tennessee is one of the schools involved early on in him.

And by this time, um, uh, there was this rivalry that started with Jax Forrest and this kid Drew Gorman.

He wrestled for Buford High School in Georgia, and now wrestles for Virginia Tech.

Um, Jax Forrest, I think he beat him, he beat him in like, he beat him for third at Tulsa.

He beat Drew Gorman for third at Tulsa that year.

And the other guy is Gene Durden.

And Gene Durden, to me, is one of the best coaches in the country, coaches at Buford High School out here in Georgia.

And he's about relentless player development, discipline, toughness, and grit.

And he says...

He's in the 2028 class.

He is 6'3", 220-plus pounds, and he plays at Buford High School.

And Buford High School is one of the premier recruiting ground places in all of the country, especially for defensive guys.

A couple of guys have played in Indiana who have been at Buford, and these guys go all over the country.

You want to hear some of the offers that he's got, right, which is what we talk about.

They've also brought in, they went to the bank and grabbed Justice Haynes, who transferred from Michigan after transferring from Alabama.

This is a former five-star running back recruit out of Buford High School.

right around the corner from Georgia Tech so he's coming back home and he's a more than anything I think he's a workhorse right he's not one of those like he he's an amazing running back right I think he's got he's got the home run speed he's got you know he's physical he can run in the ACC but I think his biggest talent his biggest um his biggest attribute is that he's going to be a workhorse and that in a brick key offense a lot of times last year as good as jamal haynes was they would rely on haynes king to be to be their their workhorse in the run game which is why he was always hurt in the last couple of years because he he took a ton of hits and that that wears on your body over a 12 game season right and i think justice haynes is he is the definition of a workhorse running back and i'm really excited to see how good he can be in an offense that is going to very effective in that offense.

And then you got the lines of scrimmage for the Yellow Jackets too, right? Where Brent Keyes said they needed to get physical, they needed to get bigger, needed to get nastier on both sides of the lines of scrimmage.

Quite frankly, the acquisition, quote-unquote, in bringing in Haynes from the transfer portal was one of the biggest storylines in the offseason in so many ways across America.

The former Blessed Trinity Titan, Buford Wolves high school player, was quite frankly one of the greatest running backs in Georgia high school football history.

He finished as the seventh leading rusher in state history.
