Buena Vista

I reached out to Joe Church multiple times, but never heard back.

Along with the site in Chattagay, Church is also trying to build a data center at an old biomass plant in Buena Vista, California.

He was interviewed about that project this spring by a local newspaper reporter there.

The reporter asked Church about his project in Chattagay, and he basically said it's been stalled.

The problem with Chattagay is not abandoned due to any issues.

It's that the site is not in the condition that Buena Vista was in.

But there was some work done on the site in Chattagay a few years ago.

Church hired an electrical company from Clinton County, but according to public court records, he never paid the company, so they sued.
