Buddy Melton

Number four.

It's Buddy Melton at number four with Some Other, Some Other Spa- Some Other Small Town.

It's made quite a ride.

It arrived with a bang back in August, uh, debuting all the way at number one.

If I had my way, at the end of the day you know that I'll be found staring at the sundown in some other small town.

Just staring at the sundown in some other small town.

That's Buddy Melton, Some Other Small Town, written by his partner M- Mylon Miller.

Six weeks on the countdown now and back inside the top five at number four.

Despite all that movement, only three songs in this week's countdown have previously been number one.

Two from Jay Lee Roberts and one from Buddy Melton.

So this is a chart with plenty of fresh blood and relatively few former chart toppers hanging around.

And our new number one has an interesting story of its own.

Number eight.

At number eight, we've got one of only three former number ones still on the countdown this week.

Buddy Melton made a spectacular entrance five weeks ago when some other small town debuted all the way up at number one.

Written by Marlon Miller, it's now into its fifth week on the countdown.

At number five, we have another tie.

First up is Buddy Melton and Some Other Small Town.

Written by Marlon Miller, it's a former number one and slips three places from number two last week.

This is its fourth week on the countdown.

Staring at the sun down in some other small town.

Just staring at the sun down in some...

Buddy Melton and some other small towns sharing number five this week.

A former number one, the second of our two former number ones.
