Bud Gaugh

Krist Novoselic, yes, the bass player for Nirvana, Krist Novoselic came to see one of Curt Kirkwood's solo shows and suggested they form a band.

They almost had the drummer from Queens of the Stone Age, but Bud Gaugh from Sublime wanted to jam with Curt too, and the guys decided to give it a whirl.

Curt suggests that Krist can bring in some tunes as well.

Now, where it all stops being organic? The absolute second any reports of this supergroup surfaced, major labels tripped all over their own ball sacks to sign them.

There's some really great Kurt Kirkwood songs mired in almost listless performances, and if you think I'm laying too much at the feet of Novoselic, I mean, there's other tunes here, and I like Krist's other tunes.

And, but if you think I'm laying too much at Krist's feet, he's actually why the band broke up.

Tour manager got into a fistfight with Bud Gaugh, someone bled, Krist Novoselic freaked out and quit, and it really was that simple.

And as such, the album remains about, well, what can you even describe it as now in 2026? An understated curiosity.
