Buckshot Roulette

You've got, uh, this is, uh, Buckshot Roulette, a little sticker sheet from Nioh Studios.

Um, and that's, that's a shame, really a shame.

Uh, g- I met those guys, man, Ukiyo, I- it's very interesting.

I, I met them all the way back at PAX, uh, East 2025 of last year when you, uh, Nick, and, uh, 9Tan and Imakuni were all playing, uh, Buckshot Roulette.

Mm-hmm.

But, um, let's start with Organ Failure, I think.

Yeah, that's a great one to begin with because it is, um, very upfront in being, you know, inspired by a game that you and I have actually both played and covered for the podcast before that being Buckshot Roulette.

The demo was released just recently.

So this is a game that is basically a medieval epidemic twist on Buckshot Roulette's formula, uh, where two plague doctors are engaged in a game of competitive malpractice.

Uh, essentially, you have a body that is in front of you of a patient.

But we can also do, like, preview events.

And we have the Buckshot Roulette IRL table.

Hell, yeah.

That we built for TGS a couple of years ago.

This is one we should totally play together.

But the developer of Buckshot Roulette, Mike Klubnika, and somebody else, I need to look at the store page to see, I didn't really know who it was, made a Mario Party-like game called Machine Party.

And as you might imagine, given that developer's pedigree, it is a horror-based game.

Mario Party or a horror themed Mario Party, if you will.

But you have a lot of fun with that.

played some buckshot roulette recently um if you're all familiar with that it's a really fun strategy game actually um i was just on steam the other day what was i doing i bought a soul leveling book the light novel i'm gonna try and read that soon although i regret buying it because it was like I don't know if $15 for a book is bad, but on Crunchyroll, I forgot Crunchyroll exists, and they have a store.

At least for the tier I have, you get discounts, but they're still running a sale where I can get all eight books for $75, which is far cheaper than buying all eight books at $15.
