Buckeye Central Local School District

Margaretta's hosting Lakota tonight in high school volleyball.

Willard and Buckeye Central playing.

Uh, we saw a big one, that one, earlier on this year in, uh, Willard.

Uh, Western Reserve's at Monroeville.

St. Paul visits South Central tonight.

Plymouth hosts Mapleton, New London at Crestview.

And of course, you mentioned that Willard-Buckeye Central rematch.

They went the full five sets over in Willard back earlier this season, and expect another, uh, tight match between those two once again this evening in N-10 conference play once again.

You're not going to get an argument out of me for the early start here tonight.

Of course, I've got to be in way early in the morning, but the last time we were here, Willard took on Buckeye Central, and that was a late one, went five sets, and we were past 9 o'clock that night.

That we were, and I'll tell you what, though, Josh, the way South Central's been playing the last couple of weeks, we might be in store for another five-setter here this evening.

I wouldn't be surprised, yeah.

They play in that tough Northern 10.

You got Tiffin Calvert in there.

You know, you got Colonel Crawford, Buckeye Central.

A lot of good teams in that division.

Willard, definitely not a slouch of a team.

We saw them go all the way to five sets with Buckeye Central in one of our Stein Olsen and Sting matches of the week.

So that's a tough opponent there.

That match could have went either way in the first and the third set there.

In other matches this season, Monroeville has wins against Edison, Plymouth, Crestview, Western Reserve, and South Central.

Their losses, no slouches on the lost column here for Monroeville.

They've lost to Mohawk, Bellevue, and Buckeye Central, three teams that we know plenty about here in the local area, Josh.

Yeah, when you take a look at those teams, Mohawk, Bellevue, Buckeye Central, they're a thorn in the side for a lot of teams in the area, and especially for teams like Monroeville, like St. Paul.

They're gonna go to Willard, and we know how good Willard is.

Uh, they, they, uh, took Buckeye Central five sets the last time we were on the air here on 92.9.

And of course, uh, that'll be after the big one next week, uh, the first match-up between St. Paul and Monroeville over in Norwalk.

I cannot wait for that one.

And unlike any other pressure pack situation in America, this is such a huge thing.

It's like Columbus is nothing but Buckeye Central and the lifeblood of Columbus.

That place is the football.

There's some schools that are basketball schools, Michigan.
