Buck Britton

Like Drew French and that pitching coaching staff has just been incredible over the past few years.

Like y- you know, the guys love Buck Britton and, and y- the Orioles really like having him in that space.

Like y- you know, do you wanna move on from Jason Bourgeois maybe because he was, you know, the big guy on, on base running and the outfield defense, and those two things really lacked this year.

Maybe that's a possibility if you wanted to make a move.

Now, it was a weird play where ball was hit to right field.

Buck Britton, the Orioles third base coach, like, didn't wave him home, but also didn't stop him.

He just kinda didn't make a signal.

CES was also kinda looking into right field on the ball, like, "It's two outs, dude.

Uh, looking ahead, uh, to the next block and moving forward, we'll talk about the offense.

Uh, Pete Alonso, uh, clobbering a home run today, being the bulk of the Orioles offense, and some questions about Buck Britton.

We had this a couple of months ago, and, uh, some sends and non-send decisions that are really bringing to question, uh, the organizational philosophy and, and maybe some questions about where the O's could improve on the margins in 2027.

Huh.

I don't know why he would take out Colton Cowser, but you know, the average against lefties tracks sub 200.

And first pitch, Lolly popped to center field on a changeup to end the inning.

So two instances in which you got to question, what is he doing? Like what's going into the decision-making process? Do you trust your personnel too much? Can you judge a ball hit to the outfield? Because this is not the first time that Buck Britton has come under criticism on this show for his relay decisions or lack thereof.

And, and this is one where, again, a similar score at this point.
