They play a good brand of footy.

Clearly Bryn Hall's had a positive influence on them.

The number of times it looks as though the game could slip away from them, and they just stay in the fight.

They beat Hawke's Bay a couple of weekends ago, and they almost did it again against Canterbury.

I'm going to go with Otago to lead at halftime, North Harbour to win.

I'll go with Lucas Casey to score a try.

I'll also go with Bryn Hall to sneak over as well to score a try.

So Otago to lead at halftime, North Harbour to win, and then tries to Lucas Casey and Bryn Hall.

Jed Melvin quite possibly being one of the great captains for North Harbour this season.

He's been one of the best players in MPC, and he is a homegrown North Harbour man, loves North Harbour, and the way that he plays is... inspiring the rest of his team and obviously you bring back Bryn Hall from Japan a really experienced guy which is really important at an MPC level having these experienced guys around and it's no wonder, I mean they won one game last year.

That's amazing because you just brought up there about Wellington you can't sit there and tell me, I don't know the ins and outs of it, you can't sit there and tell me that North Harbour Club Rugby or Northland Club Rugby is far stronger than Wellington Club Rugby So if you're getting similar levels of cattle out of club rugby competitions, North Harbour up near the top, north on the top of the log, and Wellington are 0-8.

That just shows you probably the importance of coaching and culture because something's not quite right there.

from, I think it was PJ, who said that he is just such a, talking about Bryn Hall and saying he's a ball of energy.

When he was in the sin bin, he couldn't sit still, watching him on the sideline

for North Harbour.

How good has it been for them to have him back? They've got all that exciting talent we mentioned before, young guys that have come up through the local club system.

And, you know, you just look at the impact that Brad Slater and Josh Jacob had when they came back for Taranaki, having Bryn Hall there for the season.

I think that's been absolutely marvellous.

So they play Otago.

So coming off the back of that into this year, Jimmy Ma, the coach, said they came into preseason quite early or earlier than the other teams in the MPC.

And it's shown so far this year.

I mean, the addition of Bryn Hall, I'm sure he touched on it last night and you asked him about it.

But playing MPC and having him at the helm, you know, conducting the ship, is a massive in for them and has been so far this season, you're completely right.

I'd probably say it would be.

Like if you take North Harbour, for example, a team that you mentioned when you were putting that question to us, with respect, looking across what has been mainly their starting line-up for as long as, well, when they're fully fit throughout this NPC season, the only name that really spits out to you is someone who's had a long career and played to a decently high level is Bryn Hall.

And outside of that, there are guys there who in time I think will be good footballers, but haven't got to that level quite yet.

But look at them.
