BRYLCREEM

This is a fairly fun piece of evidence.

It's a bottle of Brylcreem that they'd have put in their hair to make themselves look presentable, having had their training and got themselves ready for an evening out.

One of the local buildings was a place where the Americans did a lot of their dancing with the local girls.

The story goes that they made such good use of that venue that at the end of the war they had to pay for the floor to be relayed.

And to be an officer, it's just like, uh, getting an office i- in, in the government, you have to swear your allegiance to promote their constitution.

Uh, I might also add that I sat with the big shots on the executive board in Washington, and, uh, their names all ended in O, and they used a lot of Brylcreem.

And when they brought their executive council into the meeting, if they didn't use that guy to model Silvio on The Sopranos, uh, I, I don't know who they used.

He said that the club told him they weren't in a position to give him a new contract, but the person who told him that is now gone.

He has taken his hair, his Brylcreem, and his comb, and he has fucked off.

So, you know, new decision-makers may well view things very differently.

We're talking about the best midfielder at the club, so if he wants a new contract and the money works, there's no reason we couldn't do it.

He does it on the pitch and in the changing room.
