Bryce Thompson

You know, Grady Dick was a non top 10 recruit in the country and ended up having a really good season and being a one and done for Kansas.

We've also seen like Bryce Thompson, who was, you know, coming off the bench and shot very inefficiently for KU, you know, and so we've seen those and there's other names we can go to for for both aisles of that.

but that I was going to come into this being a little skeptical on, okay, well, what is KU going to get from Taylor and Kenny? Is this going to be a situation where he's going to have to come off the bench and it'll be Council and Blyden? But now I'm sitting there like, Man, I feel really good about Taylor and Kenny.

And it's not just like a this-year thing either.

Now, there's no guarantee that, that all of these players off the bench, that it's gonna be as deep as we think.

Like, what if Taylen Kinney is Bryce Thompson right away, where like, that was not an efficient player for KU as a five-star coming in? What if Cole Rosario doesn't take that jump forward? What if Paul Mbja doesn't take that jump forward, you know? But even in that scenario where all of those things happen, you'd still be left with Christian Reeves, who I think at the very least can reasonably play five to 15 minutes a game.

Dennis Parker Jr., who at the very least, has shown in his past to be a 12-ish minute per game bench guy for NC State Power Four teams, and that was two years ago, where in theory you get better, and I think he has gotten better, right? And you're more confident and older and better now.

Um, that's before we even get to the Luke Barnett hype.
