So in a recruiter's mind, the way I think of it is in the past and maybe before 2008, the employer was in charge.

They were the ones filtering out the candidates.

They were the ones deciding who they wanted to have come work for them.

You know, we would call these companies and see who's hiring and how we could fill their need.

And now I would say it's really shifted to more of a candidate market where the candidate's in charge because they're It seems like everybody's hiring and there's not enough talent to go around.

And that's not how it was years prior.
