Bryan Alvarez

Basically the situation here is there's a bunch of contracts coming up all at once within like a four-month kind of window here.

So this is a report from Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer, um, and it comes on the back of reports that Dragon Lee and Dralistico's contracts.

So Dragon Lee is obviously signed to WWE.

Dralistico is signed to AEW and does a lot of Ring of Honor stuff as well.

Yeah.

You know, uh, uh, I was watching this thing the other day, a little clip from, uh, one of the Wrestling Observer shows talk- with Bryan Alvarez talking about how Triple H and Tony Khan are both so kinda risk adverse-

I go, "Where's my $100 bill? I gotta plunk down for this Club WWE."

Apparently you do.

So then Bryan Alvarez tweeted the, uh, earlier today, quote, "Still not sure whether Worlds Collide will air live or even on delay, but it is being filmed with commentary." So at this point, I'd be pretty surprised if it wasn't broadcast somewhere.

In fact, Club WWE, I would guess, is probably the likely destination, because they probably wanna get more 9.99 out of WWE's fans.

'Cause I did catch wrestling, he did jujitsu to a much higher degree.

Uh, just so we're clear, guys, Bryan Alvarez could strangle 99% of the human race in under a minute and it wouldn't be a terror.

He's a legitimately very good athlete.

Yes.

So joke aside, I dunno if you, you all saw this, um, Big Rome, or L- not Big Rome, he didn't say anything.

Bryan Alvarez, who's not Big Rome, said, "I reckon they're gonna send him home happy." And a lot of people took that as, "Oh my God, Penta's winning." But what I think they may do, baby face match, Kota want to adhere to, and then the, the Hobbs guys hit the ring, and Penta and Roman, like, team up against them, you know?

Oh, man.

And then-

Uh, I've been able to work with, like, him this year.

I worked with Shotzi a little bit, Bryan Alvarez.

I worked with John Wayne Murdoch and Reid Bentley, which were really good.

I'm gonna wrestle September 26th.

Little bit of back and forth earlier this week, I guess.

Uh, we saw Bayley return to Monday Night Raw, and Dave Meltzer was doing a recap with Bryan Alvarez and as Bryan Alvarez was saying, "Hey, Bayley returned to Monday Night Raw," casually Meltzer mentioned, "Yep, signed her new deal." And Mike Johnson actually went out of his way over on PWInsider to say, "There are reports that Bayley signed a new WWE deal with a report attributed to Dave Meltzer.

That is incorrect.

Multiple WWE sources have indicated that there were no conversations about Bayley signing a new deal, as she still has lots of time left on her contract.

Other people are gonna report that she has not yet signed the deal." And sure enough, hook, line, and sinker, that's exactly what happened.

Who do you think was the first person who had to run online and say, "Yep, she signed a new deal"? Yes, Uncle Dave, Wrestling Observer, Bryan Alvarez.

And that's actually the quote that they said.

Yep, she signed a new deal.

I can't say your name without, in my head I hear, "Brian."

Imagine what poor Alvarez hears.

It's, it's like a modern-day, "Derek!"

[laughs] But yes, what do you, what do you have-
