And there is Bruce Gilden, who is just like an angry wasp and going and taking the photos.

Getting right in your face.

Yes, but to provoke people on purpose.

As a street photographer for more years than I'd like to admit to, I'd say that my style has largely been quite in your face and nearly always done with a 28 or a 35mm lens.

Certainly not Bruce Gilden or Mark Cohen levels, but certainly reasonably close to the action.

But I found that my recent style is changing and evolving increasingly.

and morphing into a quieter type of street shooting.

Um, well, okay, so I did this with GQ, and, uh, GQ had this legendary maverick photographer called Bruce Gilden-

We have all these people we want to see, but I really want to go to his store.

Bruce Gilden is definitely a hero of mine as a street photographer.

And I was very, very fortunate enough, we were going away somewhere.

Right before we left, I had the opportunity, Leica held an event at the Meatpacking Store in Meatpacking District for his new book.

So that's awesome.

Yeah.

So when I had Jason Roman on, he was, he was Bruce Gilden's assistant.
