Bruce Farr

I have a question for the original designer when I get to the point where that's possible to do.

It's like, is the hull asymmetric? I had a conversation with someone who said that Bruce Farr would design hulls asymmetrically so it's actually faster upwind on starboard which would be beneficial for starts and it was uh faster going downwind sitting on the opposite side of the hull which is optimized for off the wind work and as you get mostly northwest winds when you're racing through the well not i suppose not always but westly 66 of the winds going around the world are behind the beam so when you're off the wind and the likely headings you're going to be on as you dive south the boat was set up then to give you a kind of a benefit.

I don't know if there's any truth in any of that, but dang if the lines don't look weird on that boat.
