What was different about this was that it was supported, um, with a mentoring package and a development package with another law firm.

Uh, it was Brown Jacobson.

And so during my, my first sort of year or so there, I had, um, supervision and mentoring coming from one of the partners and was buddied with one of their associates who'd also had background in local government.

That was a great foundation for me.

And the support that I had both internally within the local authority and from the firm was phenomenal.

I've built friendships out of those relationships.

And Annie Barrero, who is one of the partners at Brown Jacobson, um, she's a very good friend of mine.

We studied for the Local Government Diploma in Law and Practice, I think that's what it's called, um, together, and, um, we've continued to work together e-ever since.
