And today I'm joined by my colleague, Dan Higgins, the CIO of Marlabone Partners, a firm he founded, which recently became part of Brown Advisory.

Dan sits in our London office and scours the world for interesting and often off the beaten path investment opportunities with an absolute return mindset.

He was formerly the CIO of Foshier Partners, an $8 billion alternatives investment manager with a strong track record and reputation for capital preservation in difficult markets.

Yeah, I should begin by saying it's really good to have this conversation.

I think it's been nearly 10 years in the making between you and me.

And I do think it's a great time to be talking because it really does feel to us that the stars have aligned, that we finally become proud of Brown Advisory, just as the market regime is starting to reward the capabilities that we've built over the last decade or so.
