one directed by Shisuke Kaneko who directed stuff like Gamera Guardian the universe some of the Death Note stuff That's not sure they directed at this point when this would come out I guess they have directed some of the Gamera stuff previously probably And then the final segment we did the last segment.

This is by Christopher Gans who? made Brotherhood of the Wolf and Silent Hill, the first movie, and then returned last, or I guess this year, to make one of the worst movies of all time, and return to Silent Hill.

But this is a cool movie.

I think it's a pretty good anthology.

back then yeah he was yeah he was big into the the um early punk movement stuff like you know stooges and like early ramones and yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

So he was also in Brotherhood of the Wolf and City of the Lost Children.

He passed away a couple of years ago.

And then this also stars Anna Falchi.

I was watching, um, I think Brotherhood of the Wolf I was watching.

And there's a scene in that where the guy is like, they're having dinner, and he's like, "I would like to recite a poem for everybody."

It's wild that somebody would use the pulpit for the things he uses the pulpit for.

See, mine is, uh, I got the 4K of Brotherhood of the Wolf.

Um, it's a movie from 2001.

... and it's, I'd only seen the, um, the subtitled version.

Uh, but the, the way they did the dub in this is very, very well done.

and we're back with part three of three of 2001's brotherhood of the wolf um let's get this shit over um so once again some guy from the beginning of the movie whose fucking stupid name i don't remember shows up and he's a room talking with mary and he proceeds to talk trash about her family and she asks greg uh uh what is it something maybe greg has his reasons and i want to see him and the man tells her that's impossible she says uh she tells him something i'll see him in paris or i want to go to paris i don't remember but i don't care uh he says uh greg's dead he's dead and um we cut to greg in a coffin and so not only did he get poisoned but apparently he was poisoned to death

death uh so she because they take her down to the fucking cellar he's in a coffin oh yeah and then her fucking brother comes back

that's the moment his faith actually starts to crack by the way not the deaths pre-spurry people that's the job description what breaks him is the laughing because a rightful god he can he can work with vengeful sin punishment there's a whole theological toolkit for that but a predator that finds you amusing there's no scripture for that there's no sermon that makes it through your daughter's death was funny into something a congregation can survive hearing on a sunday so he stops trying to write the sermon he just writes the names june 1767 a local hunter named john chestel finally kills a beast in the forest and depending on who's telling the story he does it with a bullet blessed by dipping it against a statue of the virgin mary silver faith folklore This is the exact moment the Beast of Jevedon permanently checks into werewolf lore and never checks back out.

Every Teen Wolf, every Brotherhood of the Wolf, every Campfire Retelling, it's all downstream of one other guy and his suspiciously well-prepared ammunition.

Here's where it gets interesting though.
