... following months?
4:19
Every time any of us, uh, that were to serve in Afghanistan come together and sit down for coffee or whatnot, we obviously laugh at the experiences we've had, and suddenly we're all in tears remembering these people.
4:36
But it somehow becomes a part of our lives to learn to see these episodes take place with, with people we love, and, and it's very sobering to us that we-- no one is seeking that, you know? No one is seeking martyrdom.
4:54
No one is seeking any of this.
4:57
But we are there.
4:59
We wanna be there.
5:00
We love those people, and, uh, we know therefore that what happened can happen to us as well.

... next steps.
2:15
Wow.
2:15
And, uh, obviously everything changed afterwards.
2:18
And as I read through the Bible for the very first time in my life, I remember reading through the Book of Acts and how that whole experience, uh, that the apostles had with the reality of God in expanding the Church, in, uh, living by faith, even without now having physically, uh, Jesus in front of them, but just having to conquer with, w- with Him in faith, the expansion of the Church, that began to really speak to my heart.
2:50
L- we begin to see what, uh, God is doing through the Apostle Paul.
2:55
Later on in chapter 26 of the Book of Acts, Paul had been arrested, and he was in front of King Agrippa.
3:04
He, he's telling the king, as he's being judged in court, you know, he's telling the king his whole story and how he had had an encounter with Jesus, and Jesus invited him to, you know, go to the Gentiles and to bring them from darkness to God's wonderful light.
3:22
And I was struck by that.

What are the first steps? [chuckles] Like, how do you, how do you get the ball rolling?
