Brooks Falls

I brought my family there.

This, this wasn't a trip, a hosted trip per se, but I brought my family up there and, um, you know, chased salmon and rainbow trout and went to Brooks Falls to see the bears.

Thankfully, anytime we need a break...

You can always go to my blog page where you can find the preserves, the reserves of Namibia or the Katmai National Park or State Park where Brooks Falls exists and there's bears and frolicking in the waters.

Or you can just turn to social media and get a nice distraction because this is the latest.

Social media viral trend, and it is called pheromone maxing.

It is overnight stuff.

And there's a grizzly bear just sort of chilling, literally, on a rock in the middle of the stream at Brooks Falls.

And he's just looking at his nails, drinking a little bit of the stream water.

Now, that stream water, you might.

You might.

So take your pick.

You can either go to Alaska, Katmai Falls, or Brooks Falls.

I've made my decision.

You can just enjoy it right there.

Or, hang on, I can pause that and I can take you to Brooks Falls.

Katmai National Park.

And what we have there is we've got a brown bear just laying in the stream, eating a fish.

Um, but Jason and another guide, uh, went up with my dad, my brother, and I, and then, um, two other people from the lodge.

So their plan this day was to fly out, uh, and go to what's called Brooks Falls in the Kenai, in Katmai National Park.

Have you ever, like, seen the National Geographic videos, Hudson, of, like, the salmon catchy... or bears catching salmon on that waterfall?

Yeah.

That's Brooks Falls.

It's like a national park.

That's sick.

Although I did learn there's another place in Alaska that has a higher concentration of bears than Brooks Falls, but it's very difficult to get to, and you also have to win a lottery.

They only let, you know, like 10 people in a day to see this, but there's more bears at this place called McNeil Falls than there is at Katmai.
