Bronwyn Keith-Hynes

Here's number six.

Now number six, the first of two appearances for Bronwyn on this week's Countdown.

Johnny Ray was written by Bronwyn Keith Hines with Pat McLaughlin and is now in its fourth week on the Countdown.

From Rattlin' Bones, a forthcoming album called Rattlin' Bones, here's Bronwyn.

On the kitchen floor by the window having a smoke Laughing at the afternoon telling a joke Remembering times stood in fine like yesterday But I'd be lying if I said I don't lie awake all night long All those moments underneath the clear blue sky Even though you kept going on the slide By the time we found our way across the track, Johnny Ray had already been a hell of a man.

Hey, hey, hey.

Wanted to float, but it was sinking.

Hey, hey Johnny Ray, what were you thinking? Your boat wanted to float, but it was sinking.
