yeah so uh one of my closest friends uh I had two very I had a lot of close friends right pitchers everyone um at the end of the year everyone on the team but Brock Holt was one of my favorite position players.

Him and Mookie Betts, I feel like I was closest to on the position side at the time.

You know, cold game, everyone's mad, right? We weren't playing well.

But I had faced him and Swihart and Brock Holt so much coming up.

These are not everyday players, right? I'm not going to call them 4A players because I think they're a bit better than that, but I've talked about this before.

Those are guys that I kind of put in the Brock Holt category of, yeah, they're really good in spots, but when you play them too much, they get exposed.

I bring it up that that season that Brock Holt was your starting second baseman, he was not the dynamic player he was when he was coming off the bench because pitchers figured him out.

Same thing with Monasterio.

That's what we're seeing right now.

for slowest strike ever? Who? Brock Holt.

Brock Holt.

He holds two records.

Yeah, the only guy who has hit for a cycle in the postseason game and slowest strike ever thrown.

I feel like that's a situation, and every championship team has those kind of guys.

I feel like with the Red Sox too, Brock Holt.

But Brock Holt was a really good player, obviously.

He was a very good utility guy.

But still, even when he wasn't getting that much playing time, he was always that vibes guy in that clubhouse.
