I think things have just moved and changed and, uh, grown so rapidly for me, which I feel incredibly grateful for.

I, um, you know, three years ago, Groundwater Country Music Festival, I was playing the late night shift at the Broadbeach, um, Tavern, and we were playing the cover sets when all the other stages were done for the night, and it was some of the best fun and it was some of the first experiences at a festival that I ever got to have, 'cause Groundwater really gave me that opportunity.

And, you know, now three years later, I am getting to play some of the biggest stages at the festival, and I think that that is really great, I guess, way to capture what the last couple of years have been like for me.

Um, I have released my debut EP, my second EP, and I'm preparing right now for, uh, my first record, my debut body of work, and I am just incredibly grateful.

We'll now recap the first game of the day.

This was the FQPL1 men's grand final between the Brisbane Strikers and Broadbeach United.

And as we know, all year long, these two sides have been the best two sides in FQPL1.

They put on another... put on another terrific display to kick off grand final day.

And much like in the league, it was the Brisbane Strikers running down Broadbeach United to take out the grand final.

It was Daniel Fogarty who put Broadbeach ahead before two goals from Kai Flemington and Matt Thursell in close proximity to make it a 2-1 win for the Strikers.

And this was a great way to kick off grand final day across the board, Adam.

The Strikers had an abundance of chances in this game.

Now, can he take his boy or daughter, his child? It's in the sports bar, so I'd say as long as they're accompanied and they're not on the casino floor, you should be OK.

Staffy, I believe the sports bar at the Star Hotel Broadbeach opens at 7 o'clock.

The place has about 100 TVs all playing different sports.

Staff, they should look at a Stan Sports subscription.

I went there once.

Oh, that's a different story.

I will tell that story actually one day, my visit to that casino in Broadbeach.

First day out of a health retreat of a week and I buried myself in the casino.

Plenty of guardrails on the way down.

I've got a king-size suite bed, so you can snooze in there while I go sweat it out at Royal Pines, Broadbeach.

I haven't heard anything that's making me not want to do this yet.

It's taken a lot of boxes so far.

So each

of those, so we did a project in Broadbeach.

Hutchie's built that one as well.

We turned over, within contingency, on time, on budget.

But we were the first one to the Gold Coast, first tower back.

And then we moved though.

We did one in Broadbeach and we moved down to Burley.

And we did our Burley site down there.

So they've got the option and control to do that.

And then we're holding that on the 10th of October at the beautiful Sofitel in Broadbeach, which is just across from the casino.

So then people can kick on there.

And our tickets are really reasonable as well because we are completely voluntary based.
