Brittany Spanos

I still think that there are great stories that are establishing stuff.

I think Brittany Spanos recently did a really good cover story, maybe a year or two ago now, of Chappell Roan, that I think is really scene-setting and character-establishing in a really similar way to this piece.

It's definitely happening, but the reach of the media is so much smaller.

And so the place where you're going to be getting eyeballs on you is, I don't know, like Drake doing his weird Twitch streams, talking to, like, manosphere viewers and creating a character that exists in, you know, a silo and no longer reaches people the way that this media environment did.
