six seven eight nine like there were a lot like there were categories where it was just like there's four actors from the pit up in the same category um but two two actors they were for guest performances um brittany allen who played in season two a mother that was um dying and her family was watching her die and jeff cober who was like dr robbie's mechanic buddy who who had some health issues they opted to submit themselves to the Emmys.

HBO did not choose for them to be submitted.

I just did a little research into what that meant.

They had to pay $225 to enter themselves in guest acting, which means uh there's a time limit and then in the case of brittany allen she had filmed additional scenes that weren't included in the final season so she then her she had less screen time than anticipated and that allowed her to be to nominate to nominate herself for the the guest actor i think less than 50 of the episode Um, but the weird thing, and I did not know this, they had both done this before with the daytime Emmys.

And, um, in the case of Jeffrey Cobra, he had won a daytime Emmy after submitting himself.

So, and, and, and she has, she, she did the process of submitting herself, um, in 2010.

These are going to take place on the Creative Arts Emmys and have always taken place on the Creative Arts Emmy, but I think they're interesting to discuss regardless.

Outstanding guest actress in a drama series, we have Brittany Allen for The Pit, 3 p.m. Tal Anderson for The Pit, 5 p.m. Tina Ivlev for The Pit at 1 p.m. Miriam Shore for Pluribus, We Is Us.

Mara Weaver for The Gilded Age, Marriage Is a Gamble.

And Shailene Woodley for Paradise, Graceland.

And I think she's going to get recognized for that.

We have Carly, who is played by Brittany Allen, Canadian actress known for TV roles in All My Children, Falling Water, Dexter, Original Sin, and The Pit, for which her role as Roxy earned her a nomination for a 2026 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series.

She's also known for films What Keeps You Alive, which she co-stars in alongside Hannah Emily Anderson, as well as scoring the film Extraterrestrial, The Prodigy, and It Stains the Sands Red.

So going into the pre-plot, this was directed by the Spierig Brothers, the directing collective of identical twin brothers, Peter and Michael Spierig.

I think if someone has been consistently good even when the show wasn't, it's Coleman Domingo.

um so I'm going between him and Jeff Kober also for the reason that you're saying the sort of self-submission that's become such a big thing in the press also with Brittany Allen who who we'll get to later um what should I do here um I'll go with Jeff also

Yeah, I mean, I could absolutely see Coleman Domingo winning again.

I mean, he's nominated twice again this year.

I think that that's a chance.
