Britt Robson

They played the first game without Ant.

Britt and I talked a bit yesterday about why they struggled, but How shocking to you was that performance in the moment? Because I think for most of us, maybe we didn't think it was going to be as rough as it was there.

So how shocking was that? And how much do you see that to be like a flash in the pan and then they settle in? Or are you kind of like, this might be a little bit of a rough stretch here?

Well, that's what I think this whole podcast should be about is you had a really great take.

Now he is the former all-star.

He is the guy you gave up every last asset in the cupboard for.

And I thought as bad as he was on Wednesday, he, He still was creating advantages for his guys because the Warriors, as you said with Britt, we're not going to let you kill us.

There's your advantage.

We are brought to you by Prize Picks coming at you Thursday afternoon.

It's October 29th, and I am joined here in the studio by Britt Robson.

Obviously, we're going to be talking about the injury to Anthony Edwards' knee.

He underwent arthroscopic knee surgery at some point today and will now miss at least the next two months healing from that surgery.

And give me Donovan Mitchell to score less than 24.5 points against the Atlanta Hawks.

Using promo code Dane.

All right, we're back with Britt Robson.

Obviously, we're taking this all in, as you all are, of the news of Anthony Edwards getting hurt and what it looked like last night and what it can look like going forward.

I

mean, as our favorite person, Britt Robson, likes to say, like, they need someone who cocks the cracks.

We don't have holes to fill.

We have

And the player he was tonight is exactly the type of player that is that.

I

personally liked it when he just attacked Giannis and finished over him and Bam.

I was like, oh, that was nice.

Very cool to be here for Wolves Fest.

I'm here with my friend Britt Robson.

You can clap for Britt as well.

Yeah, yeah, good clap, good clap.

I appreciate you.

Um, we're doing the Dane Moore NBA podcast multiple times a week, and then I think Dane and Britt Robson, the OG, are doing a live show this Saturday at Falling Knife Brewery.

It's like 3:00 to 9:00 is the event.

I think the live show's at 5:00 PM Central.

Uh, merch booths, the Flash Tats, uh, pop-up tattoo shop will be there.

Uh, lots of art, all sorts of things, and, um, a live show from Britt Robson and myself.

That will be at 5:00 PM.

So again, it's from 3:00 to 9:00 PM.

I kinda wanna focus in on those two things today.

But Britt Robson is my guest, which means maybe we'll go all over the place.

[laughs]

Um, Britt, you were in Ames, Iowa last night for the Wolves debut.

But anyway, so, uh, on Baron J, though, yeah, he was, he was tough.

And there was a, there was this quote that, that Chris Finch used going into, maybe it was the, Rob Dillingham's rookie year, in his interview that he does with Britt Robson, where he was-- he introduced the concept that, you know, Rob will be fine.

Or he's basically saying any young player thrust into a rotation spot will be fine, and we understand that he'll have one very good game, one game where he is kinda neutral in his impact, and one game where he's bad.

You know?

Uh, part of the reason, I mean, I wanted to have you on to, to talk about this Wolves season.

It is good to, for us to, you know, like me, and Britt, and Jace, and John, and everybody, we can kinda, we can get a little group, groupthink, and it's, uh, it's good to step out and get somebody else's pers- perspective who maybe has a view of the entire league, the context of maybe where the, the Wolves, um, fit in the entire league.

So I'm excited to talk to you about that.

But also the idea of having you come on was to, uh, talk to you about another Rob Mahoney live show in Minneapolis.

So get yourself tickets to that.

Thanks again to Rob Mahoney.

Um, coming up next will be, uh, Britt, uh, will join me on, on Thursday afternoon, and we'll talk about pre-season game number two.

[laughs] Uh, he's Rob.
