Briscoe County

Five days earlier, Crusoe lined up $700 million to buy power equipment for its AI data centers.

Then near Silverton in Briscoe County, Soluna and Applied Digital are working to close a partnership on a new AI data center there.

Now, these are separate deals and they're not one pool of money flowing through the same set of projects even.

But when you put them side-by-side, you get a pretty good map of how AI actually gets paid for.

On October the 21st, Soluna announced an agreement with Applied Digital to form a jointly owned company for a planned AI data center.

at a site that's been called Project Dorothy 3.

Again, this is right in Briscoe County.

So phase one is 50 megawatts of critical IT capacity.

Dorothy 3 is an adjacent site to that there.

It's in Silverton, Briscoe County.

It's co-located with the 150 megawatt Briscoe wind farm that we saw in operation when we were there.

At that point in time, it wasn't part of the asset structure of Saloon.

So they're going to be the, you know, the operator of the GPUs, their GPUs going in there.

Applied and Saloon are going to be managing from the co-location standpoint, but Chrono, ScaleCorp, part of the Applied Digital family in terms of a majority ownership there.

In terms of closing, it depends on Briscoe County tax abatement, title policies, corporate approvals and the definitive lease, obviously, with power and operating agreement.

So they're expecting those to be put in place by the end of this year and have that closed off then.
