I went to Mexico last August, and unusual move when you live on the beach in Sarnia, and frankly, maybe not a very clever move because the beach in Bright's Grove in Sarnia is gorgeous, as you say, both ways, east and west.

The Rotary Club of Sarnia Blue Water Lands' 44th annual Art in the Park event is being held today at Mike Ware Park in Bright's Grove.

My guest today is historian and author Timothy C. Weingart.

Tim grew up in the small town of Brights Grove in southern Ontario, next to the city of Sarnia on Lake Huron.

He served for nine years in the Canadian Armed Forces, during which he completed a master's degree from the Royal Military College of Canada and a PhD from the University of Oxford when he was stationed in the UK.

He's been professor of history at Grand Junction's Colorado Mesa University since 2012 and coach of the men's hockey team since 2014.

There are always projects that are happening.

For example, St. Michael's Bright's Grove has just gotten a new walking track that will be available to students to use outside in the playground.

There are some shade structures that have occurred at some schools.

We have accessibility upgrades for a number of our schools.
