What about like from a team perspective? How do you think the style has impacted like your guys' ability to play?

It's been fun because there's a lot of freedom.

Like we call it shapes.

It's like pick and roll, so it's wing pick and roll, side, top, clear, obvi- there's different shapes we call, and then we know what, how to move off the pick and roll based on the coverage it is.

So if it's a drop, cut, we're cut sliding.

If they're switching, we're shortening.

Like there's structure to it, but it's also just like playing free and playing basketball and making the right read, which I feel like I thrive in that kinda system.

Can you just, like, give us a little more insight into your thought process around that?

It's the understanding of what building a culture and community, like where does that come from and why is that so important to you?

I think it's how I grew up.

I think it's how I've also built a career.

I worked hard to get to where I am.

I got cut my rookie year, made it to a team, was the 12th man, finally got some playing time off the bench, finally was a starter on a really good team, and now coming to Portland, I knew the little things matter and the connections you have, the relationships you build with your teammates, with your coaches, everyone in the locker room, everyone in the facility and saying hi, making sure everyone's doing well.

Those things matter and they create a culture that people want to be a part of.

It's not just about the 40 minutes we're playing on the court.

What do you want the city to remember about you? Good question.

interesting drills that we haven't heard about that kind of took you by surprise?

I mean, there's something new every day.

I think no practice is the same.

No warm up is the same.

No shooting drill is the same.

I think that's what makes it exciting going to practice.

It is fun.
