Yeah.

But, you know, all of these labels started reaching out to us, which was a thing that was like new and a, a weird trip.

We were touring so much that we went to the Bridge Nine office a few times, and they were sort of the only label that had reached out to us.

Them and Rivalry Records, which was a Bay Area label, were the only ones that we f- that we considered.

I imagine Big Wheel was maybe a few years prior to

Bridge Nine and

Death

Wish, right? Yeah, and if I'm correct, and we should...

Isn't that good? All right.

So what, what is your, uh, what are your top two then? All right, so my number two is a Boston hardcore punk band, Bridge Nine Records.

This whole scene was huge for what I was doing musically with bands and also what I was into at the time.

But my favorite from that is Panic's EP, Dying For It.

This is pure, unadulterated music.

Bridge Nine basketball short music.

Just stomp mosh.

Riffs are bouncy, kind of in the vein of a No Warning or Madball.

I remember Adam in that time frame saying, I was sitting in my office working.

It was a shared office at the time with Bridge Nine and Matt Pike and his booking agency.

And I think Early Liberated actually was there at the time as well.

And I'm sitting there.

Nightmare, HopeCon.

The early Bridge Nine world started to kick off for Chris.

Yeah.

Josh had it going on.

Bridge Nine had it going on.

you put that logo on anything and there's a camp of people that will eat it right up.

And I would put ferret there all day.

I put Catalyst on.

I put the fucking Bridge 9 EP on of Newfound Glory.

The Bridge 9 EP, the three songs that are

Newfound Glory songs rock.

I am here this week with Andrew Sacker.

Did I pronounce it correctly? You did, actually.

So I went for it and I started talking to all the bands and everybody seemed into the idea and here we are.

That's awesome.

Making sure that you document some of these scenes is really so important because one of the things that I've found through bridge nine is that there are times when things aren't documented well, and that's that, that history can fade very quickly, especially for, for me, like stuff in the early two thousands, you know, uh, the nineties are, are well documented because everyone had a film, like a, like a film camera and, So like these photos still exist and people have the negatives and you're able to scan them.

And it's easier to make a book about something from the 80s or 90s because you have these hard assets that you can access.

But, you know, for us, especially with Bridge 9, 2002, 2003, 2004, I mean, you had people using like one half megapixel images.

I don't think I've ever listened to either of those bands.

So this is like super early Bridge Nine core? Sure.

I'm almost positive this is the first Bridge Nine release.

I take it back.

I have listened to both of them, but it's like it didn't stick.

I didn't know anyone coming up that was listening to that.

Yeah.

Um, yeah, it is the first bridge nine release, uh, release in 1996.
