Brick Township

Now, the holiday shops run through January 3rd.

Some Jersey residents in Brick Township just passed a new ordinance banning people from bringing new roosters into residential neighborhoods.

Apparently, complaints about roosters crowing at all hours-

[laughs]

Lake

Riviera in Brick has massive Halloween.

Well,

that's where I grew up trick-or-treating.

just doesn't

stop.

I mean, back when I was growing up, I remember, because I grew up a little bit in Brick and then in Tom's River as I got a little bit older.

I grew up going to trick-or-treating in Tom's River on the 30th and then going over to Bricktown to trick-or-treat in Bricktown on the 31st.

Cause I got to see more and learn more and I would interact with more people.

Um, So that turned into the opening of our first gym in Brick, New Jersey.

And it was wildly successful, but it was wildly successful geographically.

We were in the right place at the right time with the right product.

And it's so easy to get sucked into it.

And I'll tell you a side story of an example of how you could tell where the passion was.

When I first opened that gym in Brick, New Jersey, I would do all the tours for the gym.

I was the sales guy.

The Cheetah Kid.

I remember I walked up to Teddy on an indie one time in Jersey, like around Brick Township, and I was still on the indies and not even in ECW.

And I was watching, and I saw the Cheetah Kid wrestle, and then he came out, and I saw, like, he had the mask on his duffel bag.

I said, "Dude, are you the Cheetah Kid?" He's like, "No," and he just walked by.

But it's like, okay.

But there was a nice voiceover promo for Bricktown, New Jersey, October the 15th.

Mascaras had the trouble volleyball above a flying tackle, flying body press, boom, one, two, three.

Nice and easy.

Usually, you're doing three months of television before you're on the road.

Dude, not Mascaris.

He was actually at that October 15th Bricktown show.

So then, up next, Baron Mikel Cicluna against Tony Gurria.

And in Monmouth County, a ninety-seven-year-old driver died in a crash.

Monday after seven PM, Brick Township police say the ninety-seven-year-old local resident was headed east along Drum Point Road in a Hyundai Elantra when his car crossed a painted median and into the path of an oncoming Cadillac Escalade.

The Hyundai driver died at the scene while a thirty-six-year-old woman driving the SUV was taken to a hospital with what police said were minor injuries.

It was a little over a week ago that a ninety-three-year-old driver crashed into a Lavallette restaurant, killing an Ocean County woman and hurting several others.
