Brian Welch

A great fun night.

My buddy Brian Welch from Korn shows up.

I mean, the whole thing was ended up getting off the rails.

It was a blast.

Man, I love hearing people's testimonies.

And I know often guys like us that have grown up in Christian households and don't have some major crazy rebellion story or like, you know, Brian Welch testimony of like...

We just don't a lot of times.

Right.

And we we can minimalize and trivialize our own testimony in Christ.

But hearing what you go through, right, like that speaks just as loud as Brian Welch's testimony.

Just it's going to be different target audiences.

Right.

Welcome to Guys, a podcast about guys.

I am Brian.

We're doing an episode close to my heart, and I have my friend Chris here.

yep i'm here i want him to be nice to me today because this one's more important than wrestling yeah this may be a little bit they're both on like equal footing at this point in my life maybe wrestling a little higher

going to say this is kind of nice because it would feel a bit overwhelming for me if it was everyone was just hugely into Korn.

I don't hate Korn.

Brian and I, we've talked about Brian and I went to see Korn in Vancouver.

like an arena and it was a very good show it was like i really enjoyed was that the

Okay.

That's where I first found out that Brian Welch, you guys may not know who he is, but he's the I'm still going to say he's a lead singer of Korn who claims that he had an encounter with Jesus.

Hear his testimony.

If you think that kid's born again, I got land to sell you or oceanfront property in Arizona.

But there wasn't any music.

So when I saw the writing on the wall for Korn Gig was going to go away because Brian Head, a.k.a. Head, was coming back, as I suspected, I got really into meditation.

And I was meditating on, okay, you know, Well, first of all, I was depressed.

Like, I'm going to lose this corn gig, I

I've got three hours commercial free.

All your favorite 80s music plus new music from Zahana featuring Brian Head Welsh.

Spread Eagle, which I promised you last week.

Sorry, I just got too busy in that show.

You got to hear it right now.

Followed up with Every Mother's Nightmare, Walls Come Down, Exodus, The Last Act of Defiance.

Now I've got brand new music from Zahana, and it's Z-A-H-N-A, with Brian Head Welsh, who you guys might know from Formula of Korn.

And the song is called Defiler.

Man, that's a powerful testimony.

Brian Head Welch from Korn has a similar testimony of his miraculous conversion and the transformation of his heart and the transformation of his life.

I love that he said, What I was living before, it was not okay, but I was doing it in ignorance, the way that Paul said that.

And that's not getting himself off the hook.
