So let's move on from this topic.

I didn't wanna give you a heads-up on this 'cause I'm just curio- I wanna see your reaction.

I was listening to, um, Frank Isola and Brian Scalabrine.

They got a great show on NBA Radio.

And, and they were asking the question, they were listing all the teams that have sold recently.

Here's where I think people delude themselves, [laughs] and I'm gonna do this one analogy.

I think it's, it's this one, uh, basketball player Scalabrine, where everybody on the internet would just talk a bunch of shit to him and be like, "You suck, you suck." And he would play all these keyboard warriors in, in one-on-one basketball, and they would be D1 basketball players, they would be college basketball players, they would be local hoopers and everything.

Scalabrine would crush all of them, and it almost became a thing where, like, "Hey, he's not that great for the NBA." He would wipe the floor with everyone else, and he said one of my favorite lines ever.

He said, "I'm closer to LeBron in skill level than you're ever gonna be close to me in skill level." And the trading analogy-

Damn

I'm just trying to make 500 bucks a day, a thousand bucks a day." But the big fallacy is they think that, "Oh, if I'm at zero dollars, and someone's at a million, I just need to get 10% as good as them, and I can make 100K a year trading, and I can part-time trade, I can this, I, I can that." And what I would say, to make any amount of money, 50K a year, 100K a year, consistently year over year, making 50K a year is closer in skill level to a million dollars per year than zero is to 50K.

And so, so many people think, "Oh, I'm just gonna casually, you know, sell some options, cover calls, this, that, whatever," and it's like, "No, no, no, no, no, my friend." Like, to even make league minimum, that is immensely talented.

You, you gotta become a Scalabrine.

I might, it might be time to actually pick a point guard.
