So as expected within one week of setting up that destination point with a food source for rodents, a home for rodents and elevated structure I had individual coyotes cruising through, marking the hay bale, pissing on the hay bale A lot of fox doing the same thing Mating pair of coyotes The male would come through first He would mark it And then the female would double-scent market right behind him Which was really cool to see Hmm And [laughs] a m- a male fisher Uh, the Fisher was as long as the hay bale, and that thing loved the hay bale.

It would roll out like--it was really, really cool to see how this little th-this not little Fisher but how that little mammal would just mark its scent all over this hay bale after it was getting pissed on by multiple other predators uh in that little timber block Like t-t-the whole dynamic was really cool to watch Nice So s- That was documented all winter long Very very active all winter long And then I wanted to utilize that camera elsewhere for um spring turkey Mm-hmm so i took my Moultrie cameras out of those woods relocated them onto more conducive turkey habitat property But when I pulled that camera off, I just put a traditional SD card camera down there and I left it for the whole entire summer Just to see what kind of predation population was going to continue to go by that with a pre-existing Destination point Ahh...I was really surprised Extreme lack of Fox Thefisher kept coming April into May and then just disappeared Couple random Coyotes But the amount of deer For no reason at all, the amount of white tail deer that would walk by that hay bale and just shove their nose into that hay bale and just take a whiff and then just keep walking No flags, no alarms They would just check it out At like just an elevated structure that has You know Four five six months worth of piss all over it that they were just taking a whiff off of Interesting So yeah you know that you know just one of the number one forms of communication for most mammals Is y-you know sense of smell that olfactory sense T-they are just walking by crusing from Point A to B and frequent the same box On daily basis Would just walk that path Stick their nose into it Take a whifF and just keep going Hm interesting Yeah I waws intrigued ahhh....at the lac Excuse me At the lack of Predator movement around the Hay Bale In Summer Months But Im also Not Surprised Because your Habitat Change Your seasonal habitats change Mice are everywhere There not under One HayBale With Two Gallons Crack Corn Under it Right Everything Has Elevation To IT Now because Vegetation IS Growing Its juts Different Time Of Year BUT It Really Did Hold True AND I Was Confident IT WAS GOING TO HOLD TRUE TO BE ABLE TO DOCUMENT THAT FOR ONE WHOLE SEASON HOW ACTIVE That HAYBAle WAs WITH TRAFFIC YEAH SO THAt WA S REALLY INTRIGUING TO SEE WE GOT CAMERAS OUT I PULLED UMmM ThAT TRADITIONAL SD CARD CAMERA Downloaded ALL THAT FOOTAGE ONTO THE COMPUTER JUST SO I COULD LOOK AT IT ANd ThaT'S EXACTLY WHAT I SAW JuST THaT DROP OFF DECLINE OF PREDATORS MORE DEer HABITAT CHANGE Relocated tooo AHhhhh Better Deer Travel Corridor Going From Field Into That Timber Block Um For Whitetail Archery Season Basically All My Cameras Are Setup On White Tail Travel Corridors Coming In & Out Of TIMBER BLOCKS GoIng TOWARDS FIELDS EDGES Or juSt oN STATISTICAL Traveled Deer Highways THROUGH timBer Blocks We ARE DEFINITELY Seeing Some Good WHITE TAIL Buck Population AnD alot of Quantity AS OPPOSED TO QUALITY UH MY MOST EXCITING Thing ThAt I Had ON Camera thaT I WOULDNT SHOOT Mainframe FOUR BY four Eight POINT buck BuDDY'S THREE AND A HALF YEARS OLD WHICH IS which is nice Respectable Deer I ProBABLy wouldnt shoot Him Hundred Percent Id Give My Wife The Green Light She Be REALly Happy Too Shoot Something LIKE THAT buT My DAUGHTEr KennedyIS TWelve AND YOUTH Rifle Weekend IS The Second weekend Oof October That buck is, uh, definitely frequenting a frequenting resident on that property.
