Otherwise, it was frustrating.

And like, you think of the types of people like Gordon Darcy's, Brian O'Driscoll's, Shane Horgan's, Felipe Contepomi's, like who also was a doctor, right? How could I stand there and tell them this is why I'm making a decision and I can't actually defend it with sound principle and rationale? Like that just wasn't going to work in that environment.

So what do you actually sell then to sports organizations? How does that bit of it work?

Now, we had the second of our Bank of Ireland Rugby Roadshows this week at Dexcom Stadium in Galway.

Owen Shahan, Brian O'Driscoll and Andy Dunne were on stage speaking to Mr Connacht himself, John Muldoon, the captain of the Pro 12 winning side in 2016.

He's now an assistant coach to Stuart Lancaster at the Province.

All told, he made over 300 appearances for Connacht before his retirement in 2018 and earned three senior caps with Ireland to boot.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Actually, one of the things I'm, I'm really proud of is the book was sent to Brian O'Driscoll, and it was bre- sent to Keith Wood, and, you know, I basically say in the book, "I'm not mad about rugby people." And like, the, I, I said to both of them, "Feel free to just ignore it if you don't think about it and, uh, think much of it." And they both came back, and then they both say really nice things in the front of the book.

And it took a while for us as a group to become stronger and fitter and more knowledgeable and lots of different coaches coming through in my career.

And we grew as a group, became more competitive, fitter, stronger, and obviously new recruits, great, great inspirational characters like the likes of Paulie and Raj and A new breed, Brian O'Driscoll, came on board.

We actually had a guy who could pass the ball in the middle of the pitch, which was breathtaking.

Jesus, our winger, Niall Woods, has actually got a bit of room there, and he's actually pretty quick.
